1.       Seepage in boys hostel, staff quarters & school building will be arrested by taking up repair works (plastering wherever cracks).

2.      Doors of toilets are to be repaired in boys & girls hostel.

3.      Open drain near junior hostel will be extended by using one thousand bricks and sand already purchased.

4.      Campus cleaning-grass/shrubs cutting will be taken up at least four times in the session as fast growing grass has been experienced in the campus because snakes are seen every now and then. Local cowherds can also be allowed four times during rainy season to control the fast growing grass.

5.      MCBs are to be replaced in school building, boys, girls hostels &    staff quarters.

6.      Water taps will be replaced wherever taps have gone out of order.

7.      Rainwater pipe will be fitted in staff quarters and other buildings.

8.      Whitewash and colourwash in hostels in school building will be taken up.

9.      Old open drains will also be repaired.

10.  Glasses of windows in the school building will be updated/      replaced wherever required.

           The M&R Committee of the Vidyalaya is constituted to consider the requirement of M&R work undertaken in the Vidyalaya.

   The committee will discuss every month. They will prepare and review estimate for repair work, recommend for the purchase if any and verify the repair work.

          There is a M&R guideline issued by the NVS. The members can go through the guidelines to take up the process for day to day M&R and Annual M&R as per availability of funds.

The following works are proposed to be taken under M&R during 2005-06 :-    

1.       Cement work, brick work etc. in existing buildings and any new construction or renovation work as per sanction.

2.       Repairs of electric line, wiring, points, fans, tube lights supply boxes etc.

3.       Campus cleaning - cutting of bushes, strubs, graze, removing of garbage etc.

4.       Repairs of drainage system, sewage system, water-supply etc.

5.       Development of playfields etc.

6.       Plantation work -new and old.

7.       Repairs of roads, hand pumps and pump houses and pumps etc.

8.       Whitewash, colour wash of all buildings as per norms.

9.       Any other such required work.
